As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Alisha empowers her clients to achieve their goals and optimize their functioning in the world. Her compassionate and integrative approach draws from Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Neuroscience, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices. In therapeutic sessions, she maintains a client-centered, collaborative, and supportive environment, recognizing each person as a unique individual deserving of being heard, seen, and valued.

Alisha is dedicated to helping people thrive and feels honored to work with adults, couples, families, and groups. She imparts accessible and sustainable tools to address a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, compulsive disorders, substance abuse, sexual trauma, relationship distress, family conflict, life transitions, PTSD, and eating disorders.

Beyond counseling , Alisha's journey with mindfulness and traditional yoga began about 25 years ago, culminating in her certification as a teacher in 2007. In 2018, she completed a RYT-500: Yoga Trauma and Therapeutics Training through Asheville Yoga Center of NC. Passionate about spreading love and light, Alisha, now based in North Carolina, leads mindfulness classes, workshops, guided meditation hikes, yoga backpacking retreats, and retreats around The Triangle. Alisha consistently participates in Trauma Informed workshops and training sessions to stay at the forefront of her field.
