Join Alisha Nissenfeld LCSWA, ERYT 500+ in a powerful practice that teaches you how to access and integrate expansive breath work, movement, meditation, and journaling in a non- judgmental environment so you can become more familiar with and gain comfort when nurturing your relationship to your body and the food you eat. This is a practice of taking what you learn off the yoga mat.
You’ll learn to how to :
Increase your ability to get out of the mind and into your body, especially while preparing and eating food with intention.
Reduce physical and emotional freezing
Slow the mind chatter and learn to be present in the moment
Explore and understand a spectrum of sensation to strengthen your ability to discern. Increase your window of tolerance to better handle difficult emotions and sensations.
Integrate concepts of balance and flexibility on the mat and off of the mat.
Utilize intentional breath practices to help calm the nervous system.
